about this site
Hi, my name is Rob. I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For now. This site is a personal blog about my adventures in moving to Asia. It’s called “sixtysix”, because this is the country code of Thailand - where I'll move on September 5th.
Although this is not my first personal site, this is my first attempt into the voyeuristic world of blogging. I am unsure how this is going to turn out, it is an experiment in a way.
I chose to set up this site for two main reasons. First of all because I needed a place to store all my feelings, thoughts and notes on the subject. You will find articles with just a couple of lines on a feeling I had, but there are also entire project plans. It is a personal notebook, first and foremost. But it is also a way of keeping my friends, family and those interested informed on what is going on in my life and in my head. Especially those close to my heart are people I hope will respond to my articles whenever they see fit.
Finding your way around the site should be easy. One thing to remember is that clicking on ‘sixtysix’ at the top of each page will always get you back to the homepage.
